Dr Christoffel (Stoffel) Grobler is a Consultant Psychiatrist with Nua Healthcare, Extraordinary Professor at the School of Health Systems and Public Health at the University of Pretoria, South Africa and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Trinity College Dublin.

He qualified as a medical doctor in 1989 and holds postgraduate qualifications including a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health, a Fellowship of the College of Psychiatrists of South Africa, an MMed in Psychiatry and a Doctorate in Medicine (MD) with research focusing on bipolar mood disorder.

Dr Grobler has more than 30 years of experience spanning clinical psychiatry, academic medicine, occupational psychiatry, and medico-legal practice. He previously served as Head of the Department of Psychiatry at Elizabeth Donkin Hospital and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Walter Sisulu University in the Eastern Cape, South Africa.

He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications, contributed to psychiatric guidelines and textbook chapters, and is internationally recognized for his work in insurance psychiatric impairment assessments.

In addition to his clinical and academic work, Dr Grobler trained in psychodynamic-systemic group coaching through the internationally recognised Kets de Vries Institute, which specialises in leadership development and executive coaching and recently completed the Foundations of Analytical Psychology programme through the Society of Analytical Psychology (UK).
