Her career in the Irish Health Service started over 30 years ago. She has worked in the Community, Acute and National sectors in both clinical and management roles. Her brief has included Speech & Language Therapy Management, Project & Portfolio Management, the commissioning of healthcare facilities, and Medical Manpower Management. In recent years, she has managed large-scale vaccination services, the health response at the National Transit Centre for migrants, and Emergency Management Planning. She is the Dublin & Midlands Regional Lead for Health Promotion & Improvement, as well as the Regional Lead for Climate & Sustainability. She is passionate about the potential of health services to address health inequalities, promote healthy lifestyle choices, and support people with chronic diseases.
