Ronan Langan

Neuro Physiotherapist, DCU Exoskeleton Programme

Ronan is a Neuro Physiotherapist with seventeen years’ experience working in the subspecialty of spinal cord injury rehabilitation. He qualified from Trinity College Dublin with a BSc in Physiotherapy in 2006 and is a member of the Irish Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.  He previously worked in the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dublin in the Spinal Cord System of Care - Ireland's only dedicated spinal cord injury rehabilitation programme. Now, through his role as DCU's Exoskeleton Programme Lead, Ronan is applying robotics and other technology driven interventions, to support paralysed people to maximise their potential for recovery.
