Sharon Fennelly is the Co-Founder and Head of Parent Wellbeing at ParenTalk, helping organisations support working parents through practical, evidence-based guidance that strengthens family wellbeing and, in turn, employee wellbeing.

Before specialising in family wellbeing, Sharon spent 15 years working within Ireland's Health Service Executive (HSE), giving her valuable insight into the realities, pressures and demands of healthcare workplaces. Over the past decade, she has supported children, parents and families through one-to-one coaching, school programmes, and workplace consultations, giving her a unique perspective on the challenges facing today's working parents.

Sharon specialises in helping families navigate anxiety, emotional wellbeing, neurodiversity and the everyday challenges of raising children in an increasingly complex world. Known for translating psychological research into practical, solution-focused strategies, she equips parents with tools they can immediately apply at home, creating positive ripple effects for family life, workplace wellbeing and organisational performance.

Sharon holds qualifications in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, alongside specialist qualifications in Child Psychology, Practical Interventions for Children and Young People in Mental Distress, Child Development and Mental Distress, Contemporary Issues for Children and Young People, Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

Through ParenTalk, Sharon has supported parents and employees across organisations including Bon Secours Health System, Beacon Hospital, Tourism Ireland and more. This work has given her first-hand insight into how children's emotional wellbeing, anxiety, neurodiversity and family challenges directly affect parents' ability to thrive at work. Her experience, particularly within healthcare, has reinforced the importance of timely, specialist support for working parents.

At the Wellness Summit, Sharon will share practical insights into the realities facing today's working parents, demonstrating how organisations can reduce stress and equip employees with practical strategies that benefit both workplace wellbeing and family life.

Her work is driven by a simple belief: when parents are supported, everyone benefits. Families become more resilient, employees are better able to focus and perform at work, and organisations see stronger engagement, improved retention, reduced absenteeism and a measurable return on their investment in employee wellbeing. Sharon believes that supporting working parents is no longer just a family-friendly initiative, t is a strategic business decision that strengthens both people and organisational performance.
